Restauro, consolidamento e adeguamento sismico dell’Edificio 29 a Forte Marghera<\/strong>
\nForte Marghera, Venezia<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

Situato tra Venezia e Mestre, Forte Marghera nacque come piccolo borgo, punto di imbarco pi\u00f9 vicino quale collegamento tra Venezia e la terraferma.<\/p>\n

Fu trasformato in fortezza militare dai francesi e dagli austriaci, che modificarono l’antica conformazione del terreno e costruirono il forte.
\nIl progetto ha previsto il restauro dell’edificio deposito nr. 29, edificato agli inizi del Novecento. Questo edificio \u00e8 costituito da pilastri in muratura squadrata (0,65 \u00d7 0,65 m) distanziati di 4 metri, con pareti in muratura di mattoni ad un’anta. La struttura si presenta con forma rettangolare allungata, 12,5 \u00d7 85 m, ad un piano, con pilastri alti 3,30 m; il tetto era completamente crollato.<\/p>\n

Il crollo completo della copertura ha permesso di proporre una nuova struttura di copertura in acciaio che contribuisce all’adeguamento sismico dell’edificio, lasciando allo stesso tempo lo spazio interno completamente libero ed unitario in modo da favorire la flessibilit\u00e0 di utilizzo per mostre temporanee. . La struttura in acciaio \u00e8 costituita da profili IPE saldati che creano una trave reticolare globale, fungendo nel suo piano da sistema di controventatura per il tetto e per le pareti in muratura. Dieci nuove colonne in acciaio fungono da supporto statico per le strutture del tetto e da elementi sismoresistenti: le colonne di forma triangolare sono collegate ai profili del tetto da rami inclinati, formando portali, fissati alla loro base, in grado di assorbire sia azioni orizzontali che sismiche.<\/p>\n

Come per l’originaria copertura in legno, viene mantenuta la funzione strutturale dei pilastri in muratura esistenti, utilizzandoli come sostegno verticale della copertura in acciaio; il sistema di collegamento \u00e8 studiato in modo da trasferire solo azioni verticali, evitando spinte orizzontali sulla muratura, sfruttando i fori originari delle capriate in legno per centrare il carico del tetto.<\/p>\n

Gli elementi in acciaio di copertura collaborano con le murature esistenti per la resistenza sismica, sia in senso trasversale, attraverso le pareti di facciata che vengono allargate e collegate alle strutture di copertura, sia in senso longitudinale dove si \u00e8 deciso di rinforzare i pannelli tra i pilastri.<\/p>\n
